Genetic Engineering?

With all the other controversies surrounding us - global warming, the population explosion, extremism, poverty and famine it seems that genetic engineering has taken a bit of a back seat of late. However, some years ago, former Bolton Labour Councillor Stuart Murray spoke to our Branch on the topic and we had a long and very fruitful discussion with members divided on the pros and cons of the technology.

Nevertheless, one thing we did agree on is that there must be some "special" human genes just waiting to be discovered!
